Nokia N9 MeeGo Smartphone Launched

Nokia has unveiled its first Meego phone, Nokia N9 at Singapore in Nokia Connections 2011. Nokia N9 is he World’s first pure touchscreen phone with no physical keys. Nokia N9 sports a uni body beautiful design.

Nokia N9 features a 3.9 inch curved AMOLED Gorilla Glass display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, 8 MP auto-focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics and LED Flash, records 720p HD video with stereo sound, 1GB RAM, 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, accelerometer and digital compass.

Nokia N9 comes equipped with new Web browser that is based on new Web-kit technology, the smartphone supports full HTML5, new version of OVI Maps with free turn -by-turn voice navigation, Dolby Headphone and Dolby Digital Plus, and NFC.

Nokia N9 introduces an innovative new design where the home key is replaced by a simple gesture: a swipe. Whenever you’re in an application, swiping from the edge of the display takes you home.

Nokia N9 comes in three colours: black, cyan and magenta and with large storage capacities of 16GB and 64GB. Price and availability of the Nokia N9 is yet to be revealed. Nokia N9 will be available in Austria, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Finland, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Malaysia, New Zealand, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, and Vietnam.
